BAGS AND BOXES

I'am now on holiday for two and a half weeks (give or take a few days). We've closed for refurbishments which has kind of felt like Christmas really. We never close, ever. I also very officially moved home today. On a temporary basis, but it's pretty nice to be home. A consent flow of cups of tea from my mother who rarely lets the kettle get cold. Hugs from my puppies and home cooked meals. Bonus.

The move itself actually went pretty smoothly, which cost me £60 to hire two removal men to make sure it did. I hate hate moving. I use to love it when I was younger and we moved around a lot. But as you get older and the more possessions you acquire. The more irritating moving becomes. So pretty happy I now have everything unpacked and in it's perfect place. Including this ridiculous pile of "need to eBay" clothes, shoes and bags. Which has found itself a home in the corner until I have the time next week to photograph each piece individually and stick them up on eBay. (I will post a link when i have everything up and running.)

Tonight I went out for a drink and some dinner with the boyfriend to Cosy's. Purely because I had a craving for salad and felt like I hadn't seen the boy in ages. Cosy club sure did conquer my desperate need for salad. The best food I've had in a really long time.

I'm now just downloading some Kardashians while getting some Marketing notes together as I have a interview tomorrow. Will keep you posted...

WHAT'S IN MY BAG?

I love watching theses kind of videos on Youtube and I'm completely obsessed with the website. So figured I would put my version out there. I like my bag to be really organized so I know exactly were everything is. I'm also a little into black, if you can't already tell.
Bag is the blogger favourite Alexander Wang knock-off from eBay. I got it around Christmas 2011 and for being such a bargain and living through everyday battering from me. It's still in pretty good condition. Crocodile effect wallet, Phone, iPad and iPod. Because apparently I need lots of different ways to keep myself entertained on my travels. Moleskin diary, I get one every year. I'm pretty sure I would be lost without it. Comb, for flat hair moments. Powder brush, Kate Moss @ Rimmel London No3, Keys, Hair grips, Lip Balm, Change. Card holder, which only really holds my Drivers Licence and business cards from places and people I want to keep. In the winter I always keep a hat in my bag, as I rarely wear things with hood's and don't even own an umbrella, at the moment my Fendora is living in there. But sometimes it's just a plain beanie. My sunglasses should be in here to as they never leave my bag, but they were forgotten. There Kenneth Cole Reaction in tortoiseshell.
That's it really, if you take out tissues and old receipts.

THE DAILYS

Topshop - Glow / UD Naked basics / Maybelline 235 / Benefit They're Real /
Kate Moss @ Rimmel/ Korres Lip Butter/ Nars - Laguna / Scandaleyes - Nude

Unless I've for some reason woken up with lots of time to spare in the morning I like my make up to be quick and easy, no faff. This I have narrowed down to a T. I love a smokey eye, nude liner a touch of bronzer, with highlighter in all the appropriate places. Simples.

Origins - Checks and Balances / Soap & Glory - Smoothie Star /  Soap & Glory - Peaches and Clean /
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish / Soap & Glory - Clean on me / Origins - Drink up: Intensive

A new years resolution for me was to put more effort into my skincare regime. I'm 18 day's in and haven't given up yet. It's a nice resolution to make as although sometimes the last thing I want to do at night when I come home, is spend ten minutes flapping around with a hot flannel and some cleansers. Apart from the odd scar here and there my skin is looking the best it's done in a long time. Soap and Glory, Origins and Liz Earle are defiantly brands that I will be keeping in my daily skincare.

TOPSHOP'S LATEST AND GREATEST

Topshop has always been an easy "go to" for me when in need of something new or if I just fancy a browse. I've never really been one for loud floral's and harsh colours, so sorry if this seem's a tad monochrome. But my favourite picks from Topshop's latest.

We made some Cinnamon Rolls just before Christmas. Going into it slightly nervous, as the recipe seemed complicated and we don't have the best passed history of baking together.
This being said, they turned out amazing. And myself and the boy were left feeling like we had master the cinnamon roll.
(I just searched for a Cinnamon Roll recipe on Nigella Lawsons community website.)

On Saturday we went to Sandy Park to watch the Chiefs play against the Northampton Saints. Growing up I always use to go to Rugby matches with my Dad, It was just our thing. But because I work most weekends I haven't been in ages. Other then getting beer split on me within the first 3 minutes, and us loosing the game. I had a good time. I love standing around crazy fans giving there "good luck" chants, with a hog roast and a pint. Especially as this time I got to see Ben Foden, which is pretty much a dream come true.

NEW YEARS EVE

I've always been one for making New Years resolutions, whether or not I actually stick to them is usually a different story. I just like the idea of being able to start fresh. Last year I said I wanted to see a Polar bear and stay away from Tequila. Neither of those things really happened.

I have a feeling this year is going to be full of big changes. And therefore I'm unsure as to what I should set my resolutions to be. Getting a house, car, and saving money are all big things that I need to do this year anyway. So instead of setting big obvious tasks, I'm going to tackle the small things.

1: No more make up wipes.
(Although I have been getting a lot better with this, there is always room for improvement.)

2. Yoga
(I have been saying this for donkeys years, but my Christmas gift from my brother means I no longer have any excuse.)

3. eBay
(I have so many clothes, shoes and bags that I  have no idea what to even do with them.)

4. Tickets
(Book more tickets to see shows, comedians, gigs anything. I love having things to look forward to.)

5. See a Polar Bear
(I really do want to see a Polar Bear.)

Twenty twelve I wouldn't put down as being the best year yet. But I have managed to achieved the things I wanted to do and got back the people I was missing. The fact that it's Twenty Thirteen already is pretty much one of the scariest things. I guess we shall have to make the most of it...

I plan on seeing it in with the boy, my family and friends.

happy new year x
