THE REGULARS

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Eight regulars I thought I would share. Estee Lauder Double Wear was kindly given to me a few weeks ago by a friend who got a poor colour match at a counter. Lucky for me if I add in some Maybelline FIT 210 to lighten it up it seems to blend in with my skin tone rather well. I've been using the remainder of my Porefessional sample up but just concentrating on my nose. As I've found this area benefits most from a primer. My Kate Moss @ Rimmel No3 is literally always on me. I've had it for months now, and still in love with the shade and the formula.
A few months ago I made myself give up black eyeliner. To compromise I've started opting for dark eye shadows instead. This one from No7 came in a gift set and therefore unfortunately doesn't have a shade or colour number. But is really pigmented and great for an everyday smokey effect.
After seeing all the hype about the Lush lip scrubs, I finally went out and bought myself one. I was really torn between this one and the Mint. I think they must be a bit of a marmite product as people seem to love or hate but I'm definitely a fan of the finish and the taste!
Nails Inc, Motcomb Street has barely left my nails recently. My black varnish has gone walk about's, so this very dark blue has been doing a great job of substituting. When I feel like I need a little bit more colour to my outfit. Barry M's Coral is a firm favourite.
I've recently rediscovered, during a make up bag clear out, my sleek contour kit. It's in a filthy condition and the highlighter is long gone. But even so I've been loving it's light bronze shade. It does a great job of making me feel less like a snowflake during this stupidly cold February.

FAT TUESDAY

HAPPY PANCAKE DAY.
I love pancake day. Mainly due to the fact I get to consume to much Nutulla and not feel guilty. But the idea that there's a whole day dedicated to eating pancakes is pretty awesome. Why would you not want to celebrate that?
Today's been a complete lazy day. Last few day's of my holiday and I figured I would spend at least one of them in my onesie, watching some downloads on iTunes and drinking to much tea. That and getting together all the things I love and playing around on polyvore.
Yesterday I finally stop putting it off and put some things up on eBay. I had no idea you were only aloud to sell 10 items at a time, so this could be a long process. I also managed to get rid of 91 cd's and dvd's and put 40 items of clothing up on Music Magpie last night. (If you need to get rid of a lot of items quickly this site is genius.) Although I do still have a few bags of clothes left for eBay, my pile of "make money out of this stuff" is going down quickly. Kind of feel like I'm running a little empire from my bedroom. If you would like to contribute to my "I Need A House" fund here's the link to.. eBay

STYLE STALKER VOL 2: MILLIE MACINTOSH

Camilla Macintosh
Chelsea / MIC / Make up Artist

I don't feel like it's such a big assumption to say that everyone and there dog wishes they could dress at least a little bit like Millie Macintosh. I love the way she always has it together. Even dog walking outfits can't put her to shame. Although Millie is famous for her part in Made in Chelsea. She is a professional make up artist, which makes a lot of things clear when you see shot after shot of her with such a flawless face.
Millie's website www.millie-mackintosh.com has links to her blog, style diary and pretty much a well rounded source for everything Millie Macintosh. (Beware, it will make you wish you had a tan and a wardrobe full of faux fur collars and fendoras.)

On Tuesday night we went to watch The 1975 @ The Cavern in Exeter. Was a pretty random night, as we had never been there before. (I was half expecting to end up in some pit in the ground full of grungy looking rockers.) We had such a good night though! The 1975 I would say are definitely one to watch. It's sort of cool knowing you've been to see a band before they get big in a tiny little venue with the best view. They are yet to release an album, but they have two Ep's on iTunes and a third to be released in March. May's UK tour is already on sale. Check them out. www.the1975.com
(I'm counting this little outing as something to cross of from our list as, getting tickets for "things" in general in something we should be doing more of in 2013.)

With me being on my "sort of" holiday from work. We've actually managed to have some weekend lie in's. Which result in making French toast just before 12pm and passing it off as Breakfast. This is the boy's creation. I'm not naturally a big breakfast lover (unless I'm being taken out), the boy is normally trying to force feed me porridge or toast. But when it tastes this good I'm happy to sleep in till 11, and be greeted with banana-syrupy goodness for Breakfast.

STYLE STALKER: VOL 1 MOLLIE KING

 Mollie King
25 / Londoner / Saturday

This girl seems to do no wrong in my eyes at the moment. I've always loved her, but recently she's managed to hit the nail on the head with everything she wears. Here she is photographed leaving the BBC studios in London. Going slightly preppy and braving the cold with bare legs.  MK blogs for inStyle magazine with My Month by Mollie King. A good go to, for almost -- daily pictures and outfit stalking.
She's also Cosmo's cover girl for March which is on sale January 31st. Have a gander at her Cosmopolitan Style CV  for some more Mollie inspiration.
